Migration of Filipinos working in the different parts of the world in order to secure a better future for their families is increasing every year. Such issues creates problem in terms of family relation leading to disintegration. Problems like drug abuse, teen pregnancy, early marriage, abandonment, neglect and worst sexual abuse are just some of the risks that they face due to lack of parental care and guidance.

The Philippine Constitution upholds the solidarity of the family being the basic unit in the community wherein the children are the most who suffered when problems beset them. Thus, the government thru its various agencies has its programs and services to combat problems arising from migration.
